I hope you are right as this would have been my second guess.

Well, here is a new challenge: https://jumpshare.com/s/HvmSXQh0ucgnpQUdwzev
To make it a little easier: It's a single instance of this RE synth (which is no longer available in the RE shop).

Should we consider Klang, Humana, etc. as a synths ? They are only samples wrapped in a box with very basic general controls.

No it's not a synth really. That's why I was careful to call it an "instrument".dusan.cani wrote: ↑27 Sep 2023Should we consider Klang, Humana, etc. as a synths ? They are only samples wrapped in a box with very basic general controls.
I've also stated in the rules "Guess the synth/instrument posted last."
The thread title can be a little misleading for sure since it only says synth. But calling the thread "Guess The Synth/Instrument Challenge" just looked awkward and didn't roll of the tounge as nicely. So I went with the more concise current title. I figured most of the time people will go with synths anyway.
You're pretty close, but it's not Mixfood Remix.

The Mixfood part is correct, but it's also not the ambi nature one.
Nope, but I find it quite strange that this RE is no longer in store. Especially as it is still shown on the pic and the description of the t2o synth bundle.

Is it that orange thing?
Yes it is Mixfood Orange, which is actually quite a nice synth. I wonder why almost all of the Mixfood REs got pulled from the store though.

Alright here's another one. I hope I don't pick anything we've already had. I haven't payed attention all way through the thread, so sorry if that should bethe case. I mean I guess we could have the same synth/intrument again with new examples if someone wanted to.
Anyway, here's a first clue:
It's a synth all Reason users are very familiar with.
Btw I haven't used any sort effects in this example. No delay, reverb, not even EQ or compressor.

Sounds like Malstrom. It can produce modulation articulation exactly like this and also character of wavetables sounds like vocal tables from Malstrom.

OK, I will post another one:
https://jumpshare.com/s/sjyH9GfLTqD6anfOKCqT
There are four examples from the same synth. First one example is little bit processed with help of RP Verb and Disperser REs but all other examples are dry, straight from the synth.
Hint: that nice resonant filter is created by ladder type

Well, I can no longer access the sound sample from the link, but fortunately I downloaded the sample. However, I am not sure I got the right one now. Is the name of the song Synth In Action? The sounds I think sound right from before.dusan.cani wrote: ↑30 Sep 2023OK, I will post another one:

But I know of at least three synths that have a ladder filter somewhere in the synth. Is the synth Europa?

Hi ChulaCoola, yes the link is gone because it has expired...I didn't know that they delete the uploaded file after very short time.
I uploaded file to another service, so here is a new link:
https://sndup.net/fr69/
Yes it is "synth in action" filename. But no, it is not Europa

Looks like the action is hot and heavy here!
Must be a big event going on somewhere.
After monkeying around with a few ladder filter synths I"ll guess Thor.
