Hello,

I've started to use RRP on Reaper... you know Reaper is extremely fast but when I load RRP as effect it took several minutes, I see the Reason splash screen for a couple of minutes until it finally loads...

Is this normal ?
Thanks

That´s not normal. Maybe something to do with the licence.
Does Reason open ok by itself ?
what´s the machine setup you have ?
Are you loading the VST3 version of RRP ?

In cubase i feel it's slow but not more than 20, 30secs, and only in the first instance.

There is no other version :puf_wink:

Pulling up RRP delays big time in Logic too, before eventually just crashing. This may have to do with their stupid copy-protection because the Analog Obsession stuff works great and has no licensing layer. (and is totally free!)

Strange. RRP loads within 3-4 seconds every time in Ableton Live 11, in fact I now have several RRP instances as part of my standard Live template which loads every time I use Live. It is flawless. So, no, slow load times are not right at all. I’m on Intel MacBook Pro (and Intel iMac Pro), Monterey.

Yes, it works normal in stand-alone mode.
My pc is pretty decent, is an i7-9800 with 32GB

Is not a performance issue, when it loads it works great, but the splash screen of Reason freeze for at least two minutes before continue loading the project... Is a massive orchestral template with 400+ tracks... however it loads in a couple of seconds if I remove RRP

Thanks

The first instance is slow for me, but then adding further RRP instances is pretty fast.

Reason 12 crashes Studio One v5-6 as you launch S1 it will freeze while Reason is loading and you will have to reboot your computer. Reason 12 will crash your computer when loading RRP as an instrument or effect.

try re installing, might be some windows update that messes up the codemeter licencing ! sometimes programs get corrupted from updates! .

Was about to say that.

I use the RRP in Reaper and for me it only takes say 10 seconds or so. Both kinds - effect RRP or instrument.

I have an on going bug that i am looking with reason support. Rrp triggers a licence check at every load. Yet the load time is about 2-3 seconds.
I use rrp in bitwig on an m1 macbook.
Bitwig and RRP fanboy...
