Reason 12 crashes with this combi in Win 10 on my system. It loads up ok but if I show devices then scroll down it gets near the bottom and freezes. The last device I see is Scope Jr then it is "not responding" and has to be terminated.
Does anyone else get this?

Thanks for the feedback. Curious to know if anyone else is experiencing this crash, as it may be a Reason 12 bug that we should report to Reason Studios.

I just tried to open it in Reason 11 and received the dreaded "Bad patch format". It opens fine in Reason 12 on my end. I'll need to investigate this further on my end, but it seems to be a bug with the new Combinator's reverse compatibility.

Just to be clear, it loads without problems in R12 (I do have all the free devices). It's only when I "show devices" and scroll down them that it freezes. It always freezes at the same spot with Scope Jr visible and what looks like a player just coming onto the screen. It doesn't matter whether I scroll with the mouse wheel or by dragging the "navigator" view on the right.Reasonistas wrote: ↑05 Sep 2021Thanks for the feedback. So it's a pretty minor problem because I don't need to see all those devices. I was just doing so out of curiosity. However, it might point to a wider problem or it might just be a problem on my system.
If someone can tell me what REs are below Scope Jr in that combi I'll try loading each one individually to see if there is a problem. I'll also try some different zoom levels.

Thanks. I can load them all fine individually, both in a combi and outside of it.
I tried deleting devices from the combi, about ten at a time, and it was fine until the point where the ones in the problem area would have been displayed on the screen. I left the PC for 30 minutes just in case - R12 still "not responding" and I needed to kill the task with task manager.
No-one else seems to be reporting this so I guess it must be something odd with my system. It's not a big problem unless it starts to affect my daily stuff so I'll leave it for now. I'll revisit after each point release of R12.
