I can't believe I just read about this now.  Apparently Richard James encoded a spectrogram - of his face - in the B-side to his Windowlicker single back in 1999, almost 16 years ago (the track is known as "Equation").  I suppose this is the audio nerd's version of playing a record backwards to reveal hidden messages, but instead it's a nightmarish photo being delivered to you through your ears!
