No worries wee one, it still sounds wonderful when you're not blistered off your bum.motuscott wrote: ↑24 Apr 2021Just wow. You folks make some great stuff. CustomVibe is a favorite. As far as UI goes, love how a lot of your knobs have the readout visible w/o having to tooltip. Furthermore BlueDepth is just beautiful, that RT diver guy should be all over this.
And I thought the video was great as well. Doesn’t hurt that I had a lungful of NY’s newly legalized chronic just before I watched

I would be prepared to pay a considerable sum for a brown note generator with a kitten on it
Less than ten myself. Literally.
Yes, Turn2On's GUI has come a long way. These newer devices (and the updated older ones) are looking great!
I once had a kitty that generated lots of brown stinky... umm, they weren't notes.
Let's just pretend we are in a U-boat. Plenty of reverb going on in a U-boat, I would imagine. But please, no cats in the U-boat.plaamook wrote: ↑27 Apr 2021On a technical note, our ears don't pick up reverb underwater. What you hear and record is super dry. It's to do with how sound moves through water as a medium and how our ears work. In fact it's all so dry you can't even tell what direction a sound comes from. All you've got is volume really. If your teeth are rattling, the boat's right above you, etc.
Never the less, all my underwater music is pretty verb'd up because the sea LOOKS like it should have reverb. Wacky world.
Never been in a u boat. Been in a hyperbaric chambers and wet bells. Pretty verb’d up. Giant cast iron tub basically. I guess plate verb is a good approximation.
I've been trying out a few combinations, with that in mind....
Me too
Of course you doGardinski wrote: ↑18 May 2021Oh my giddy aunt. This one is incredible. Somehow I managed to miss it when it was released, but I've just run through a very rough EWI/saxophone track I recorded a couple of weeks ago with BlueDepth tacked on, and the results are absolutely astonishing.
Even on its bare-bones default setting alone, it elevates my totally inept playing to something that sounds impossibly rich and portentous. That mighty subharmonic boost works spookily well for filling out simple wind controller parts into something far more 'orchestral'. It just sounds utterly 'real' and organic. (And then when you start playing with the lighter settings, you start getting into crazy Donny McCaslin/'Blackstar' territory.)
I'm seriously impressed. I downloaded it somewhat reluctantly, thinking ''do I really need ANOTHER reverb?''
Turns out I do.
