I just cannot get excited by modular stuff.
When I saw Seligs post (viewtopic.php?p=424313#p424313) i was sold lol.
I already have maia and a refill from pinknoise and i was trying out lunaMrFigg wrote: ↑06 May 2019After deliberating for about an hour I’ve already decided I won’t be buying Complex-1. There are a couple of things I want if they go on sale but I’ve set a max price in my head for them as well. We’ll see.sleep1979 wrote: ↑06 May 2019

I think ProjectSam is pretty good for orchestral/cinematic composition:
I hear you on that.diminished wrote: ↑06 May 2019I hope it starts soon.
Looking at the shop currently feels like this:
thanks anyway but I meant something a but different I think labs spitfire audio labs has me on the orchestra front now as I don't really need more than ensembles they are amazing freebies so I wouldn't pay for them two res - I meant something maybe a bit more ambienty really I should have been more specific cheers palreddust wrote: ↑07 May 2019I think ProjectSam is pretty good for orchestral/cinematic composition:

I had it on a subscription plan but I never really used it that much because I centered my work more on strings and ended up using Stringwerk, which is also pretty interesting but as its name says only for string works

I only have reason intro mr figg and i will do for a while 16 tracks does me , so i tend to stay away from a lot of refills , the only one i really use is piknoise essence as its for intro users cheers anyway i meant more rack extensions though cheersMrFigg wrote: ↑07 May 2019Guess you’ve seen this:

Lol, very funny (and maybe very true, I'm not sure, sorry)diminished wrote: ↑06 May 2019I hope it starts soon.

I'm pretty near to that point too, really wish there is a sale for the Noise Engineering Synth Bundle and maybe I'll get the new Sequence device from RobotBeans, then I should be good to goantic604 wrote: ↑08 May 2019Interestingly I'm not excited for May Madness anymore. I think I already own 90% of REs I wanted, the remaining 10% is nice to have, as I'm not nearly using the stuff I have to its full potential. But I also feel the same about VST sales, so there's that.
Looking forward to v11 announcement instead
I'm in the same situation, I could have saved 20 to 30 bucks if I'd take Complex-1 sale price now, but I'm not going to do that exactly because of the theme of this thread. I don't want to give 50 Euros now that I might need for some sale coming up in May Madness just to save 20 or max. 30 Euros for Complex-1 at the end. I don't have 100 Euros to spend right now in REs so I rather keep those reserved 50 Euros for what may come in the next weeks... but that's my case, don't know if it helps you in any way to take a decisionfretshot7 wrote: ↑09 May 2019Well i have a dilemma, i'm two payments into complex-1 on rent 2 own, so I paused it thinking its cheaper to pay it off now on Deal of the week. But now i'm thinking, every time i use it I just waste time fiddling with it, maybe its not for me but in a few months if I want to fiddle with it again I can pay $10 and fiddle away for a month and stop again.... i dunno its a dilemma!
Yes! I agree, if there are any tasty deals coming up i cant really afford complex-1 ontop of some other stuff, and the fact i can just restart the complex-1 rent 2 own whenever for $10 is really cool. Its the acid test on if i 'need' it or not i guess...reddust wrote: ↑09 May 2019I'm in the same situation, I could have saved 20 to 30 bucks if I'd take Complex-1 sale price now, but I'm not going to do that exactly because of the theme of this thread.
