I know that when the record button is active you can record arpeggio notes to track, but I would like to manually copy and edit arpeggio notes. I can't seem to find a way to copy notes to track when it's not in record mode?

Insert the free CVPTap Player between RPG-8 and the instrument. This effectively turns RPG-9 into a Player. You can then use the Send To Track button on the Player to copy the arpeggios to the instrument track.

Right click the RPG8: "Arpeggio Notes To Track".voiceprint1 wrote: ↑25 Oct 2024I know that when the record button is active you can record arpeggio notes to track, but I would like to manually copy and edit arpeggio notes. The key is to have recorded the notes that feed the arp first, then when everything is as you want it select the destination track and invoke this command - simple!

still unclear on how to. do this, I tried the methods above but could not get them to fill with the arp notes unless the track was in record mode, the point is to be able to start the arp note on a bar, I guess I can manually move them, but curious to just add them and edit if I want?
There are two tracks to deal with, the instrument track and the RPG8 track, and I assume you've hooked everything up so you hear the desired results when you play notes on your keyboard. That process should be as simple as dragging the RPG8 below the instrument in the Rack View.voiceprint1 wrote: ↑27 Oct 2024still unclear on how to. do this, I tried the methods above but could not get them to fill with the arp notes unless the track was in record mode, the point is to be able to start the arp note on a bar, I guess I can manually move them, but curious to just add them and edit if I want?
The next step is to record the notes you play that 'trigger' the RPG8. For simplicities sake, imagine holding a single note and having the RPG8 spit out 16th notes. Start by recording that single note (or drawing it in) on the RPG8 track. Now when you hit play, you should hear the 16ths triggering the instrument you chose. With me so far?
OK, now you have to be specific here. In the Sequencer View you click on the instrument track (not the RPG8 track), then in the Rack View right click on the RPG8 and select: "Arpeggio notes to track". This will 'print' the notes from the RPG8 to the MIDI (note) track of the instrument, make sense?
Finally, mute the Arp track so that you don't double trigger the instrument.

One step that might be missing: Set the loop markers to the section to where the notes shall be rendered.
