Live performance - controllers

Hi,
I have two questions…. I want to make a loop on a controller (e.g. with Europa synth) and while controller play the loop, I want to adjust the parametrs on controller too in real time.
So first question is, it is possible?
And what kind of controller sholud be use fot this..... thanks a lot!

Yes it is possible and basically any MIDI controller with keys and knobs/faders will do.
