I'm looking for help as a new Mac user. My PC's motherboard died, so I decided that it's a good time to make the switch to a Mac Mini with the M1 processor (Monterey).
After installing Reason 12, I added my ReFills folder to the Browser, just like I did in Windows. I was used to seeing the folder content organized by file type first, and then alphabetically. So, the subfolders were on top, A-Z, followed by standalone ReFills, A-Z.
However, on the Mac, the Browser only displays the files alphabetically. So, it's a mix of subfolders and ReFills.
Is there a way to display the files Windows style, or is this just the way it is on Mac?
Thanks for any tips.
New Mac user, need help with file organization
With Finder active go to the top menu bar and open Finder > Preferences... > Advanced (tab). There is a section called "Keep folders on top:" which can be configured so that it sorts files/folders more like in Windows.
Music is nothing else but wild sounds civilized into time and tune.
