I like it, and its partner Additive Oscillator. They're both great for pads or soundscapey type work where you want to create a sound with lots of subtle (or not so subtle) movement in it. Layer them in a combinator with whatever other instruments you're using, automate the faders and add filters/FX as needed. This work especially well with Additive Osc, I don't know of any other way in Reason that you can automate individual partials
