Just to let you konw: I own licenses for "The Legend" VST and RE. I upgraded the VST version to "The Legend HZ" and got the crossgrade to the RE version for free. I also own the "Modern Analog" soundset for "The Legend". Synapse Audio gave me "Modern Analog" soundset converted for "The Legend HZ" RE. Excellent service by Synapse Audio!

Just a little note... I love Legend. I have owned the original RE for many moons. I never received that 25% intro price email, although I do receive other mails from Reason Studios. So something went wrong there in the marketing department. Hopefully #don'tknowhowtotagpeopleonforums Mattias sees this and pulls some strings Not expecting something today, since I am sure Reason Studios offices are closed on weekends. Maybe not. Just not sure. From a propellerhead since '98 - Árni Grétar

A wise note from a wise reason talk king. At times ... the most obvious solution is in front of my "nose", but I don't see itLoque wrote: ↑12 Oct 2024Contact support directly.arnigretar wrote: ↑12 Oct 2024Just a little note... I love Legend. I tried it to see if it's mseg is usable and lol, just try to create a hill shape there. The math behind it's mseg is that simple that you can't get normal hill shape
Is there a way to convert the VST patches out there > to rack format for the RE ? I would like to do this with two banks I have acquired.
I have both the VST and the rack. There are very few preset banks out there for HZ. Some VST backs come with rack patches as well...
so there must be a way to do this that I have not found yet.
Never mind RTFM lol
Each patch is a single Cubase patch file (.fxp), a common format for storing patches. Moreover, The Legend HZ lets the user import and export patches in Rack Extension format (.repatch). This allows for the interchange of presets between Reason and VST/AU hosts.
ok... it says you can but I missed how you do it... where is the export to re button?
I am still learning this beast. Went through manual and could not see the process nor can I see it in the options...
you would think it would be under menu but.......no
The Synapse's support email address is not accepted by my mail.
EDIT... solved... Facebook contact through messages... all though the first option given does not seem to be in the save dialogue box... the second option works. "HI, to export patch to repatch format, simply click the "Save" icon and choose the format "*.repatch" and save. Alternatively, please simply write ".repatch" extension in the "Save as" dialog to the saving patch name."
