Librarian(?) for external midi devices on Mac

I recently switched from Windows to Mac and am (re)learning a bunch of things. I have a very old Korg X5DR device, for which I used to be able to use some basic freebie Windows apps to edit and store patches via Sysex.

My question is: what do Mac users use to manage their external midi devices? If anyone has direct knowledge of controlling an X5 / X5D / X5DR, even better!

TIA

Thanks, Miyaru. I did find MidiQuest via Google but it looked kinda old and I thought there was likely something else out there. I guess not! Perhaps VSTs managed to kill off that whole industry of utilities for old stuff. :-(

Another vote for MidiQuest. They've been around for a long time and really know their stuff.

And you can buy the librarian for just one synth, until up to six synths as the cheapest version.......

Every synth that responds to CC can be controlled from the new Combinator in Reason. I hope we see a user base development here.
