I used to find his videos really useful on specific devices so shame he has deleted his content. Even if he is going in a different direction on YT I do not see the reason to delete all the old stuff. Suppose he has his reasons.

I have saved 100 of his videos but not in HD sadly I didn't hav enough time, to ge them downloading in HD.

But nobody throws away years of content. You can just stop creating more and leave those platforms but leave the site and videos alone. Leaving Facebook and Twitter like I’ve done a decade ago is not the same as deleting your educative work off the Internet. Just leave it there, don’t create more if that’s hurting you mentally, don’t log in again, problem solved. No? Am I crazy for thinking that way?

I left all social media but didn’t delete my music. If I had been unstable mentally I would have deleted all my music as well. And my music is nowhere near as useful as his videos and websites

He said there's a whole army of people harassing him and he had no clue who they are or why there were harassing him.
I thought about it and I actually have an idea who these people might be and why this started but I don't want to go into some wild speculation in a public place like this. It's probably wrong anyway, so...

There was someone on Reddit over-sharing links to his videos. Some folks thought maybe it was him sharing his own videos. Then the ‘not him’ person got really upset and wrote a long bleeding heart post before quitting.

Then the ‘real him’ deletes all his media? Hmmm ….

I don't want to risk making false accusations to anyone. I'm not even sure what kind of harassment he had to endure and so I'll better leave my wild theories in my head. Sorry for spreading curiosity.

I did not know the content or the creator. But the YouTube rage quite is something I have seen many times. I have even stopped doing things I enjoyed too in a moment of distress. It is actually why I don't post songs here anymore. That said I don't mind a little drama from a good creator but once their channel becomes all drama I usually bail. My other pet peeve is people who ask for engagement and don't engage back. But you don't have to judge me, I went to an all-female High School. I know I am evil.

If you have followed Hydlide over the years you will know this is a pattern. He has done this a few times. He stops using Reason and deletes all his stuff, but always comes back. Just give it time.
