That doubleneck is a Rogue 6 and 12 string. The gigantic body gives it a great tone, even though it was super cheap.

Wow, everyone's studio space reminds me of how much I now work "in the box"! Except for my guitars, I gave up my MIDI racks long ago!

"Stairway to Hernia"... I gave up standing with that one years ago. I got a perfect armless chair for such devices

This is the guitar I use the most because it is so light and still sounds wonderful. It's a modified NK from Korea. It was $300 when I got it, now they're $500

That is impressive! I was always intrigued by guitar synthesizers back in the day but never went down that road. But this is the ultimate solution to making a guitar sound like anything. Expensive but no doubt worth it. Personally, if I want sounds other than a guitar, I use a keyboard. Did anyone try this out? It looks like it's getting rave reviews.MrFigg wrote: ↑06 Jan 2025Have you tried this…

It’s pretty cool but also pretty expensive.

Yeah, I tried it and it worked surprisingly well. I didn't read the instructions (obviously) but after a while I had my guitar playing Mellotrons and Clavinets and all sorts. It tracks really well. I'm much better at guitar than keyboards and it was a whole different experience...bit more feeling to it all. At the end of the day though, like you, I figured I could just as easy use my MIDI keyboard so I saved the money and put it towards a Strymon Cloudburst. If it ever went on sale I might be tempted...but it won't because the guy has said it won't.wendylou wrote: ↑09 Jan 2025That is impressive! Wow, JamOrigin's Midi Guitar 2 is $150. Changes your guitar into a piano, a B3, or a shakuhachi, or any Reason sound, or anything. And seems to have no delay. I have a Boss SY-200 which changes your guitar into great-sounding synthesizers, with no delay at all. It costs $300. Midi Guitar 2 is calling my name...

I am equally unskilled on guitar and keys.
When will my MIDI dreams come true?
You guys are gonna need a drumber at some point

I first saw a demo of this with a casio midi guitar connected to a Yamaha FB-01 in 1987jfrichards wrote: ↑10 Jan 2025Wow, JamOrigin's Midi Guitar 2 is $150.
