As the description and title suggests I've tried to make this one pretty organic sounding. Rather than "normal" synths I've used stuff like Friktion, ProjectSAM, ID8, AC-1 Acoustic Clapper.
I've also let quantizing be a bit looser and the pitch be a bit wobblier on certain sounds.

Tritone, this sounds amazing. At 00:31 song became for a moment toally jazzy.
Damn this sounds good. Amazing. I love it. Thumbs up.

+1 from me!

Thanks.
It seems like the jazzier type of chords have come up more frequently in my songs lately. I have no idea why though. I never listen to jazz. But I try not question these things when I create. Better to just go with it.

Love this. That soaring flute/pad combo is wonderful. Excellent.

I really like the section starting at 1:03. The song is very relaxing. This is something you could keep on repeat for a while. What did you use for reverb on this?

Thanks. The "pad" is actually just the reverb from the flute. The Valley Plateau reverb is awesome for thick and lush reverbs.

Thanks. I've used a couple of different reverbs. The reverb at the 1:03 is the Valley Plateau reverb. Definitely has become one of my favorites. It's awesome for big, thick and lush.
I've also used Synapse Fat Space for the plucky lead melody. And Skrocks reverb are used in afew places as well. They are all great in their own way.

Thats clever. I've never heard of Valley or the VCV rack before. Thanks for the info 🙂👍🏻

I would definitely recommend to check out the Valley Plateau reverb. Let me know if you want some sound examples from previous songs I've made where I've used it.

So here's a few examples where the Valley Plateau reverb was used. They all stem from my two songs "Preparation" and "Butterfly". I'll link them as well in case you want to hear everything in context.

So it's first without the Valley Plateau reverb and then with it for every example.

Thanks for doing those examples TritoneAddiction. It creates a good type of parallel processing/movement for the percussion. And for things like the toybox and the strings it lifts them right up. Have you had a chance to play with Ripley yet? Was wondering how it compared. Two cool tracks by the way. Preparation is very cinematic. Do you send your music to Film/TV production companies for possible use? Butterfly - love the way you can feel them fluttering about you with the arps/percussion you've created.

You’re welcome.
Haven’t done any music for TV. A couple of years ago I had plans to make music for video games. But I realized that I want to keep my music making time free to do what I want without having to do any compromises.

I think the new devices for R13 looks cool and interesting, including Ripley. I’d like to get those. But unfortunately I’m not a fan of some of the changes in R13 so I’m currently sticking to R11.
