Hi.
Since making my topic a few weeks ago, unfortunately things are not going well. I am having an overwhelming amount of health issues. After we managed to get the bacterial prostatitis under control (what the other topic was about), my long standing problem with my back has become worse than it has ever been. To the point I have had to succumb and have pain killers as I can barely move. But don't worry, my personality is not changing for the worse this time.
My L4 is now completely gone, disintegrated, which has happened over the last few years as it was desiccated last time but still there in 2015. A decent sized chunk of L5 has broken off and stuck into the nerves and this happened just after I got better from the infection and the pain is breathtaking. I don't know any other way to describe it. L6 is slowly going the way of 4, there's maybe half gone. They want to remove the errant chunk of L5, a discectomy, but that doesn't guarantee it won't just keep breaking and this keep happening, so I am beside myself as I just don't know what to do. I am 100% bed bound and need assistance just to go to the bathroom, I can't even sit up to eat.
Therefore I have moved in with my parents, partially because my sister and her family live next door, and she is able to come and help me, partially so I don't have to cook or anything as that's impossible for me atm. Unfortunately she also works like no one I have ever seen to get a business of the ground with her husband and some other partners, and she is putting in 8am to midnight working hours every single day. so doesn't have time to help me with this task. My mom is 79 and has her own issues, so she can't do much, and my dad is even worse than me, he's been in heart failure for years and seems to be on a 1 month hospital 1 month home perpetual rotation.
Thank goodness for laptops so at least I have some entertainment in bedroom, but I haven't been in the music room (next door bedroom) for 2 months now, at all.
As Kenny said, You've got to know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em. I need someone who really appreciates gear and will be careful with it, to help me sell and clean out house.
I physically can not do it and now I desperately need the money to get on top of things/debts.
There are 22 hardware synths, a bunch of UA gear, adat expanders, all pristine. Of course I can say that no one looks after stuff like me, the absolutely only good thing about having OCD (lol), but I know there are others who appreciate the level of care I have taken of my things and who also do the same.
Because of my location, it therefore has to be someone in Melbourne. I am inner east.
I can give you a cut of the sales, whatever you think is reasonable, I am not even going to negotiate, or you can have a hardware synth if you like. I have some that are still brand new and discontinued, like an A1R or Roland TB3. I am keeping my Integra 7 and MoxF6 and that's it. So 20 to sell.
I also need someone to be able to take my AN1X to get it repaired, screen and LCD light replaced and a new battery. They are worth a lot these days and otherwise it's like new, which is amazing. I have had it since 1997. It will help me sell it for more. Needs the battery replaced also. I *may* keep it, may, which is another reason I want it repaired, as it's actually a really great master keyboard. But everything else but the 2, or maybe 3 mentioned has to go, everything.
If you can help, let me know!
I mean we could just agree to straight up payment too if that's better.
I need everything boxed and packed ready to sell, photos taken of multiple angles to show the condition, I can no longer bend down at all and need a lot of cabling cleaned up as well.
Anyway, fingers crossed there's someone out there who also wants a bit of extra cash or some new goodies and can help.
I am a very reasonable person, just let me know what you want and I will do it. The only thing I can't do is offer you the Virus TI2 as repayment, as that's in brand new condition and worth the most of everything in the room, so it's that alone which will loosen the noose around my neck (I should get over 4000 AUD for it). I am open to any other discussion. I have some classic synths like fully expanded EMU romplers, as well as more modern stuff.
As always,
peace to all.
Really need some help in Melbourne to sell pack and post gear

Thanks for the kind wishes. It feels so weird sleeping in a room two bedroom doors down from mum at nearly 52yo but I just wasn't coping on my own anymore. Now I have a dry socket from tooth extraction, it's been a week, I tell ya. Going to dentist tomorrow so he can pack it, and now I have tummy troubles (to be polite) since I started on the silly pain killers again, but as the back specialist said, it's a necessary evil right now as they are the only way I can walk at all.
I am sad, but happy to be alive at the same time, and was thinking maybe I could turn my bedroom into a mini studio. Right now I have it as a simple setup with IK Iloud and windows laptop, but maybe I can get a wall stand and a big screen and bring the mac studio in, and my Adam A5X are not too big so I could put them a stand and get some sort of large overbed table for a midi keyboard and apple keyboard and mouse. That's what I am going to try do as at least I will have constant entertainment writing music, but the days of hardware synths and patching and bending and even just sitting in certain positions to access them all, are gone. It is life, but life is still wonderful.
