I searched this forum for an hour and a half and could not find anything on the subject, except the subject itself. Actually, Google search sent me here, but I could not find any answers. I'm totally new to forums so please forgive me.
I was very well bent on going Linux until I found out Reason has zero compatibility with said OS. I didn't even think to find out if Reason 10 was compatible with Windows 11 before I went ahead and installed win 11. Is there any chance it will work, or should I just forget about it? I really don't want to risk losing files or messing anything up right now as I have a fairly complex animation project I'm working on in Blender and I'm very near done. I just need Reason to add soundtracks. I do have my old drive with win 10 and reason installed however I really know nothing about dual booting, or the risk involved in that realm. Any helpful information will be greatly appreciated.

Officially from Reason Studios: Reason 10 has not been tested for Windows 11 compatibility. Therefore, one can only assume that it is NOT compatible - officially. That said, maybe someone who is still on Reason 10 and has a Windows 11 computer will test and report back. Or maybe someone who is on Windows 11 and still has access to their old Reason 10 installer (which can be downloaded from their account page) will test, but I'm not sure if Reason 10's offline authorization still works.ReasonBlenderer3DubD wrote: ↑02 Oct 2024I searched this forum for an hour and a half and could not find anything on the subject, except the subject itself.

Windows has a very long trail of backwards compatibility. So I'd assume that R10 works just fine with Win11. Also running Reason in wine under linux is working quite OK.
