Hello,

does anyone know if it is possible to record the freezed delay from Ripleys Delay Buffer ?
I know i could do it if I record the input normally and then automate the freeze Button. But mostly I am jamming live with my guitar. I have some cool wah wah riffs freezed with ripley for the background and then I want to pull this to and extra audio track and keep it recorded. But routing the output parallel cerates a new audio track where the input is ony recorded from the soundcards input....

Any ideas ?

Regards
Sascha

Create a new audio track. Set your guitar audio track as a source in the mixer device in the rack. Now record it.

Yeah, now I got it. Thanks :)

I have always overseen this small button on the mixer device where I can set it as a source device for recording. This opens a lot of new possibilities for me, great ....

To expand on what Loque said - this is the way. Especially in the context of a mix where you have other things playing at the same time.

Another route is to hit the same button on the Master Bus, and save it as a template. With this always enabled you have the option to simply solo any track you want to record.
