macOS Sequoia was released today. Anyone test Reason 13 for compatibility?

I decided to test myself by setting up Sequoia on an external drive (so as not to commit to overwriting Sonoma). I downloaded and installed the stock Reason 13 without any add-ons, and it does work with my Panorama P6. So far so good...

 Not so brave, as I had installed it on an external SSD while leaving Sonoma intact for testing purposes. But today, after watching a video where someone did commit to macOS Sequoia and proceeded to test every VST from their huge collection, including Waves, iZotope, Native Instrument, etc. (you name it – he had them all!), everything worked flawlessly. So, tonight, I installed Sequoia over Sonoma and tested Reason 13 and all my VST. Reason works flawlessly on my Mac Studio M2. Ditto for Logic and Final Cut Pro. No issues whatsoever with VST validations or operations. Everything works fine, including all my other apps!

Thanks for the details. I would love to switch but Eventide, Audio Modeling, and Sweetwater sent out warnings which triggers thousands of Mac users' anxiety. including mine, LOL

I'll wait until all of you unpaid beta-testers have finished your unpaid work.

As I said, no issues with DAW/VSTs in Sequoia. Check out this test on a massive plugin collection – they all work:

Anyone else brave enough to update and can report back on this thread? I am about to upgrade myself because my laptop is also used for my day job as a freelancer.

I had to make the switch because my computer is also used for my day job. Reason 12 is working great and I will try Reason 13 later today.
Fingers crossed.

Sequoia is DAW and plugin-friendly compared to the horrific Ventura that left many VSTs unusable. It turned out (as manufacturers began to suggest) that plugin validation failures were due to Apple's macOS, which Apple eventually corrected. As someone unable to use Reason with VSTs under Ventura for nearly a year, I can attest that Sequoia is safe and works very well for music apps and VSTs. Despite the cautions from Sweetwater and the like as you wait for official plugin validations (which often take up to a year), Sequoia just works without issue as it did under Sonoma.
