Please give us a scale mode in the piano roll

I mean surely this couldnt be easier for them to implement and i dont understand why its not been done yet? Give us the option in the piano roll to select a scale and then have the notes within that scale light up or be clearly visible.

This should have been added 5 versions ago but for some reason some devs just seem completely against it. Bitwig is the same.
I dont get why they dont do this as it seems like such an easy win and something a lot of people would be happy with.

Ableton does this perfect, as does Cubase. studio one also kind of does it. Logic doesnt do it, reason doest do it, bitwig doesnt do it, why not reason?

Not like this has been suggested a few dozen times already, but if RS adds this it should be done as an automation lane (just like tempo and time signature), so it can be changed in the course of the song and then players should be upgraded with the option to follow the global scale/mode setting.

Still suggesting it here will most likely not reach RS, better use the RS feedback form instead.

I think a global option that could be automated would be cool, but a tool that can be applied to selected clips/notes, with something like "fix to scale" would also be very useful. And as others have suggested, having a keyboard that only includes notes in a selected scale, for quickly drawing in notes, would also be cool.
