I hope everyone is well. I have a song I am working on with a vocalist.

She sent me the vocals recorded in stereo but the left ear only.

I brought this to her attention and she literally can't and doesn't know how to fix this. I just want to make the audio file mono.

Is there a way to edit this within reason?

Thanks in advance

Yes, you can edit the stereo audio file to make it mono within Reason. Here's how you can do it:

1. Start by importing the stereo audio file into Reason. You can do this by dragging and dropping the audio file directly into the Reason sequencer or by using the "Import Audio File" option from the File menu.
2. Once the audio file is imported, locate it in the Reason sequencer. It will appear as a new audio track.
3. Right-click on the audio track and select "Edit Sample" from the context menu. This will open the sample editor for the audio file.
4. In the sample editor, you will see the waveform of the audio file. Look for a stereo field or pan control that allows you to adjust the balance between the left and right channels. This control may vary depending on the version of Reason you are using.
5. Adjust the stereo field or pan control to center the audio. This will effectively make the audio mono by combining the left and right channels into one.
Once you have made the adjustment, save the changes in the sample editor.
6. Go back to the Reason sequencer and play the track. The audio should now be in mono, with the vocals coming from both the left and right speakers.
