Personally I don't really get all the hype surrounding this artist as a 'musician' but he did expand the possibilities of what software at the time could achieve and therefore had a lasting influence on future music.
If you are a fan I'm sure you will get a lot out of this but if not it is still and interesting insight into the creative process.
