I have a song project that I made but the sequencer in Maia (original) will go through the complete sequence once just fine, but then on the 2nd time through, it will stop at the end of the 3rd block/section, and start over, then go all the way to the end, repeating this over and over again. Matrix is a little different, but still restarts before the end, I think around the end of the 2nd block. I looked through the Maia thoroughly, and do not see anything that can affect this as I even reset the Random sections
Maia has Osc A table length of 2, B table length 1; Matrix Osc A and B table length 4. Orange Osc A, B have table length of 16.
Reason 12 Studio,
BTW, there are no other instruments, or effects external to Maia and they are not connected to each other on the back.
There are a LOT of pics I could take, so if you need a pic of a certain section, let me know which one/s.
Thanks for any help.
to basically not do anything. Is there some function triggering this action somewhere? Is this just the normal operation of Maia (it does it in Maia, Maia Matrix, not in Orange). I'd like to clear it out if I can, if not, it isn't that big of a deal, the song still sounds good.Maia Sequencer Question

Have you got the loop/cycle button active on the main transport?

Ok, so I checked out the play head on the transport and watched where it is when the sequencer resets. It resets when the playhead hits the next clip. I moved the next clip, stretched the first clip to cover the next one I moved, stretched the note, and then played it again and the sequencer didn't reset this time. Interesting. Not sure why it does that, just that it does.

And Orange didn't reset because ... well I cut the clips to lengths that didn't correspond to 16 steps in the sequencer, and removed the overlapping notes. Then it reset also. Problem solved.
Thanks.
Thanks.

The sequencer is triggered by note. If you retrigger a note, like you do with the next clip, and the Maja sequencer is not at the end, than you start from the beginning.ChulaCoola wrote: ↑17 Nov 2023Ok, so I checked out the play head on the transport and watched where it is when the sequencer resets. So, change clip length matching the sequencer play length. You have set it to 1/4 with 16 steps, should be 4 full bar or 16 times 1/4 note.

Yeah, and likewise, I could do something with clip lengths different than the sequencer steps to get them to do other things too, like make it "stutter step" or something. Could potentially be very useful at times.Loque wrote: ↑17 Nov 2023The sequencer is triggered by note.
