I went so far as to argue with someone on IG about Reason having AU support, I had totally missed Reason adding AU support in R11.
That said, I’ve got a bunch of AU’s installed by default, and am interested in trying something with a few AU’s to see if they behave different than the VST’s. How do you access the AU’s?
Totally missed AU support. Does it need to be enabled?

That was my reaction.
I ain't seen any in my type picker.
You know that strip what says [RE] [VST 2] [VST 3]? It don't also say [AU].
Wouldn't that be where you turned AU on and off?

I was so confused by this post:
I thought I missed something with it happening in R11, but I guess AU support is only for RRP.

Now the confusion makes sense. That's understandable.

Well that wouldn't make sense either because the RRP is also available in the AAX format. That chart is just wrong any way you look at it lol
The way Reason Studios wrote the press release for it for R11, it sure sounded like they had added AU support to Reason standalone.

I haven't seen that PR, but that's kinda what I meant. It's understandable that someone could get confused when the word behind the first R in RRP occurs in proximity to AU when that first word also refers to a DAW. You have now had your RDA of TLA and may commence napping at your discretion.
