Dude it's $15
Valley Plateau Reverb RE port released
I very welcome ports from VCV to RE
I own the VCV Rack pro version and been not very satisfied with it. It not really help me as i expected. And i see rather an port of the modules in RE.
I will not say, waste money, but maybe as reason user with cablejumping all the time and very well made RE´s its enough. So be careful if you buy the pro version. You have only a few days or hours to get your money back.

Entitlement much? Wow,. Comments like this make me wish RT had downvoting like Reddit. What a cringy comment. I guess you go to work for free, too, right? Why do you expect developers to work for free? This device didn't port itself, Murf had to put in a lot of time doing it. And Murf has given us plenty of free REs over the years. Nothing wrong with charging for this one (especially since he's paying the original VCV dev a cut of the profits).

UF Orb is ofc brilliant as well. And their debut. But imo Orbus Terrarum is their masterpiece. Valley and Plateau (no pun intended) are their 'magnum opus' to me.dvdrtldg wrote: ↑14 Jun 2023Ahhhhhhh of coursearnigretar wrote: ↑14 Jun 2023And for the nerds...the first two tracks on the GREAT orb album Orbus Terrarum are? Yep - you guessed it!
I tend to think of Orbis Terrarum as the album where they started to slide a bit. UF Orb is the one for me. Haven't listened to The Orb for years, might give them a spin today
But to the thread again - support the RE makers. 15$ aint much for this. And this is well done.

If anyone wants to try out if VCV meets their needs in Reason, try Cardinal VST.Mattvank wrote: ↑15 Jun 2023I very welcome ports from VCV to RE

I Second this, Cardinal is great and played a major part in the testing of this RE when comparing it to the original.Floyd42 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2023If anyone wants to try out if VCV meets their needs in Reason, try Cardinal VST.Mattvank wrote: ↑15 Jun 2023I very welcome ports from VCV to RE

I'm sorry, I fully appreciate the value your work and your effort you put into it.Murf wrote: ↑15 Jun 2023I understand, but I think I have contributed enough to Reason on the free side with the MODRACK range.
The Plateau port was a very difficult one that required large amounts of code change and a UI total rework, including generating the graphical elements from scratch.
The author of Valley Plateau VCV module fully supports the price I am charging.

it is a great reverb. I use it in reason often via cardinal.crimsonwarlock wrote: ↑14 Jun 2023Tempted, because I use Plateau in VCVrack. But I think my reverb collection is nicely rounded out with RV7000, both Synapse reverbs, RPverb, my own Bricasti combi2, and (soon to buy) AD480
Nevertheless, congratulations on the release

Since there aren't any demos in the Shop. Here's a quick ON and OFF example I made.
It's just bass and melody. Valley Plateau Reverb on both of them but with completely different settings.
Played around with the automation which resulted in these weird background wooshes.

Thanks. It's definitely a fun reverb. It seems to invite experimentation.Murf wrote: ↑16 Jun 2023Nice!TritoneAddiction wrote: ↑16 Jun 2023Since there aren't any demos in the Shop. Here's a quick ON and OFF example I made.

I might try to turn this short demo into a full tune.
Yea, nice. It is clearly a nice reverb for experimentation too.TritoneAddiction wrote: ↑16 Jun 2023Since there aren't any demos in the Shop. Here's a quick ON and OFF example I made.

Reason13, Win10
I think it could be possible to just buy the 30 bucks Host module for running Reason as Rack Extension, without the VCV VST, but I'm not sure. I have neither of those, just the free version.joeyluck wrote: ↑15 Jun 2023Also keep in my that the VCV VST costs $149. You can use it standalone for free, but if you want to use it in Reason as a VST, that's what it would cost you. While owning that does offer its own value, if you're someone who doesn't own VCV VST and/or just wants to get some of these modules into the Reason rack, this costs less.
