How did this thread got derailed like that?

Simple logic is what the person with the boomer conspiracy theories is lacking:

-If the moon landing was fake the soviets would have been the first to call it out as fake
-the us currently and since then has not had any incentive to use the amount of resources required to go back l
Exactly!

Nevertheless, I tend to think that we are going to see a resynthesizer next. What's your opinion? Physical modeling or (additive) resyntesis?

I'm leaning towards physical modeling. The clues seem to point towards that direction.

Again, my guess is that it's a synth that's using resynthesis/additive/spectral synthesis. We'll see in May.

The new post on Facebook said this;

“Everyone knows the greatest movie franchises come in trilogies, so we’ve got a final instalment of our reaction series for our newest instrument arriving in Reason+ and the Reason Studios Shop in May 2023. We’ll have more to say, show, and share about this exciting device between now and then so stay tuned!”.

So, no more reaction videos. Next reveals should be getting down to business hopefully.

Why did they name Complex-1 as "-1" when their philosophy is to abandon released synth and never touch it again ?

There are so many possibilities how to make amazing sequel versions of the existing synths...subtractor 2, thor 2, europa 2, complex-2, etc.

Lets' take example from RE market, for instance the Viking synth, There is VK-1 and later the VK-2 was released. Both intruments are amazing, the newer one is more advanced.

... and Blamsoft needed to explain over and over again that they are two entirely different instruments :puf_wink:

Y'all are doing more than these videos to hype this up, bumping this thread to tell us how much you don't care for the videos or the building of hype... These videos were made for you to do what you're doing now. You are the hype machine.

By looking at the color scheme and the arrangement of some of the buttons/knobs/encoders/wheels of that new RE in the thumbnail image of the third teaser video, I feel like being reminded in the Hartmann Neuron synthesizer, which was a unique and new take on modeling sounds based on resynthesis. I wouldn’t be surprised if RS has incorporated that kind of approach into that upcoming instrument. We’ll know quite soon.

Because that instrument is a complex one, not a Complex 1 of 2 (or more)?
