This is inspired by Logic Pro’s vintage graphic eq. It is for sound tweakers who like the ability to dial in a sound, then make small changes as the rest of your mix evolves.
Once you get a good eq curve, you can tune the affected bands higher or lower to get it just right. In addition, you can test what the 63 or 8k bands sound like as shelves, or widen/narrow the Q’s of all the mid bands. Bypass and adjust the gain to retain your level.
The ranges of the tuning are meant to be somewhat subtle, so that might be an area to mess with in the editor…
