The wait finally paid off. Just bought the V9 collection. It's nuts.
Arturia Black Friday deal
How much did you pay? Just wondering if you’re aware that it might have been cheaper if you’d picked up and registered any of the freebies they sometimes offer. I’m seeing €199 for V, €149 for fx and €69 for pigments. If I buy V then the price for pigments and fx goes down to €49 each.Heater wrote: ↑16 Nov 2022https://www.arturia.com/black-friday-22

Bought V for €199. I must have bought something from them a long time ago which enabled me to have a small discount.MrFigg wrote: ↑16 Nov 2022How much did you pay? I already own MoogModularV and ARP2600V (plus a couple of their freebies). The full V upgrade is mine for $199.
Adding some more data:
If you've already got V Collection 8 you can upgrade to 9 for 99€/$ and from FX Collection 2 to 3 it is 49€/$.

To be completely honest I already own all the instruments I’d want from V9 from other devs. Just bought the Softube Juno for example. CS-80 from PB. Hammond from IK etc. I’m going to use my €200 to buy another pedal I don’t need instead .

I only have 7 and they are offering me 9 for $99
especially if you've purchased something before and have the deal in your account for 199, it's an incredible deal for what you get. If you haven't and you're purchasing in USD, Thomann has it for 259.
Ever since Arturia's been going back and re-writing their DSP for their old synths, they've earned tons of cred from me. The new Prophet V, Jupiter V and CS80 V are so, so good.

I’m a bit dubious about Arturia’s updates. I’m not one to stand in the way of the march of progress but I did A/B comparisons of the new and previous versions of Jupiter and CS80v. I’m not a big Jupiter v user but it seemed to me that I could get the old one sounding like the new one by just brightening it up with eq. With the CS80 which I do use I found that I preferred the character of the previous version more. Just my subjective opinion obvs but I wonder how much of these updates is just about having something to say about the new Vcollection releases when most people feel they have enough and don’t need to upgrade.
