I found myself never using anything from Waves. The shell always crashes, the WUP is a bad joke, the prices are weird...Thanks for info, but i pass...

Yeah, they are not my favourite things either but the price is good. I'll probably just add it to my Waves account and never install it.

I do use their Ovox and the new Harmony thing is getting decent reports from some of my friends and ex-colleagues.

Yea, i thought in the past to do the same. Add it to my account, just in case...

...And never installed or used the stuff, but got annoying emails about "YOUR WUP IS GOING TO EXPIRE" bla...

Meeh, no thanks anymore...

Having just added the freebie to the account I noticed that I have a handful of plugs still within the WUP period, including the freebie from last year so I've just "upgraded" them from V13 to V14 versions. None of them cost me any money or are installed or activated but I can now relax, safe in the knowledge that the stuff I will never use is fully up to date. And, yes, the update policy is a bit odd but I just find it funny when they try to get money out of me to be "up to date", especially for stuff that was free.

I'll at least give it a test run on the next project...it's the only thing Waves on my system.

Ya never never know.

Possibly the most useless freebie ever from Waves. Tube saturation is nice, but who doesn't have like 65 fully-featured "warm analog distortion" plugins to choose from already?

Don't get me wrong, though, I grabbed it :D

What a gift lol.
Slowly moving away from waves.. (want to pay again for some UI/scale-able, mix knobs features*?)
I wonder if RS is ever going to support side chain for waves plugins? Yes, mea culpa for thinking it would just work. ...anyway, time to keep testing the Beta.

Personally I liked this one. I even shelled out for the big version that came out on Cyber Monday.
