Buy PusheR 2 software…….
:D
I have it too for my Push2 and Reason 12, it has so much to offer for you!

https://retouchcontrol.com/pusher/
Looks cool. Tend to use RRP now but good to know things like this are available if I ever go back to using reason as my primary daw
I use them both as primary DAW’s, depending on mood and needs….. So I need my Push2 for both! :-)

few days ago i got an e-mail from Focusrite... telling me... that since i own their Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen USB sound card/audio interface...
... i can obtain for free these two things:

- MASSIVE from Native Instruments and
- Ozone Elements from iZotope

now tell me how good are these two thing? are they worth grabbing them?
as i have looked the first is a VST synth. and the second one is a couple of VST mastering tools.
i do not know - reason already has it all. so that is why i am askign you if these two things are worth grabbing.
also the thing is i really really do not like VSTs. it is so ... full of installs and activations and so on. i do not like that.
reason has this with REs solved very smooth and nice.

I have NI Massive, I bought it a couple of years ago. It is not an easy synth to program……

Since I own Reason, never used it anymore, do I need to say more?

The other stuff: I don’t know, so I can’t tell anything about it.

And unless I misread it the Massive offer is just a 3 month thing.
It's a good synth though. You'll hear it on many, many commercial releases from a certain era.

For free those VSTs are OK. Massive is an old staple synth of the late 2000s which has been reworked into Massive X now. It's good to have it in case you want to recreate some typical sounds of that time and there are also many preset packs available for it. However the free vital synth pretty much beats it in pretty much any category.

Ozone Elements is given away for free quite often. Its OK to do some quick mastering, but nothing really fancy.

Still both products can be good ways to enter into cheaper upgrade routes to their more kcomplete offerings in case you're interested in those.

I didn't buy it, but I won it: the new Filter Array RE from Turn2On. Very excited about it, as I never win anything and this one would definitely go on my wishlist

If you haven't seen it yet, check it out: https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... -array-24/

One of those ikea global knife knock offs.
But if a test run.
The steel they use is some kind of German gear which is a pretty good all rounder. Tough, easy to sharpen, edge retention is just ok…so we’ll see. But if it’s edge retention passible, which it seems to be, it’s be the best knife you can buy for £19.
So a little tip there.

I got it because I needed a decent travel knife. I do a lot of cooking in strange places and I can’t abide a shit knife and I don’t want to travel w some of my more fancy pants knives.

Behringer Super Fuzz came and I can tell you now that for €30 I don’t think you’ll find a nastier fuzz.

Nastier good or nastier bad?

Those pedals normally match the equivalent Boss pedals sonically but are made down to a price so that, for example, changing the battery turns into an epic battle where you need three hands and two biros to push the little pin things in. And they should definitely include spare springs in the box.

Yes, I have several Behringer pedals! :D
(the ultra metal and the octaver are still regulars around here)

Nasty good. I bought it basically because it’s a clone of the Boss FZ-2 which in turn is a clone of the original Shin-ei. When JHS are churning out Superfuzz copies at €300 and the Behringer one at €30 sounds possibly better then, well you know.
That biro thing is the stupidest thing I’ve seen though. I’m just using a PSU.

Rams Head arrived. Custom built. Only one in the world. And you know what, when I plugged it in and started playing it sounded so good that I was actually shouting and smiling like a maniac. The guy that built it is so happy with it that he’s going to do a ltd. run.

Well, I can’t afford those fancy pants ear buds for over 100€ so I’ve gone for a Bluetooth receiver I can plug any old junk into. Works ok. Also testing the stupid lightning audio adapter. It’s also ok. For now. But Lightning jacks are about the worst jack ever invented so I don’t expect it to work for long.

So technically…I just bought myself those things as well.

After removing Waves (instead of buying a stupid update plan) and cleaning up other garbage from my Mac I used the money saved to buy my first 8 channel audio interface with Loopback--the Audient EVO16.

It's just a little Epiphone SG Special. I've been practicing on a Yamaha acoustic for quite some time and got this one for my birthday. Finally, I don't have to rely on samplers for the guitar sounds I want!
