Signal\Device chain visible in the Sequencer (Like Ableton)

Have any feature requests? No promise they'll get to Reason Studios, but you can still discuss them here.

It would be nice when the sequencer is overhauled to have the signal chain for each track displayed at the bottom of the window like Ableton does.

The fact you already have the thumbnail images for this will make it tie in with the broswer section too.

If you want to tweak an instrument or effect in the chain, you just double click on it (at the bottom signal chain display) and then it opens up the rack window and it pulsates the instrument\effect you've selected.

Boom!

That would be a nice touch.

In fact it, thinking about it, it would be better to display it on the right hand side - so when you click on a track it shows the chain of devices from top to bottom 'Rack Stylee' - on the right - that would be amazing! Plus it's more inline (unique) with the top down 'Reason Rack' process, rather than the 'left to right' of Ableton and everyother DAW.

This works in Ableton because the signal chain there is linear, like in most DAWs. The more modular approach of the rack makes it possible to make non-linear routing (like between mixer channels/chains), which is impossible to visualize as a 'strip' like in Ableton.

hhhmmm I don't know, surely you could have the main signal path ie:
Synth
Delay effect
Reverb

but have a way of seeing outputs/inputs if things are being modulated by somthing else.

I just think its nice that if you click on a track you can easily identify what devices are making up the sounds in that track.
