NI problems with M1 old soft updates?

Want to talk about music hardware or software that doesn't include Reason?

It seems that NI has discontinued Absynth from its Komplete 14

https://www.musicradar.com/news/ni-absynth-statement

Reading a recent letter to NI from Absynth dev, it looks like he wanted to keep it up to date
but its offer wasn't received. And looking at the alomst complete failure updating of all NI products on M2
Macs, I guess this is more than just a single dev issues...

It's not clear if for those who got Absynth, they will stll be able to authorize it through the NI auth or
their copy will be mantained in the personal db.... no mentions on that...

It's a miracle that it already worked and was supported for 20 years.

Some people are worried that NI is ditching Synth Synthesis in their products...
The Absinth dev has a new Synth up its sleeves, PLASMOID, but NI is not interested...

New Reaktor 6 is still a lot about Synthesis, but aside BLOCKS,
all old ensembles used old code, I remember playing Absynth in Reaktor 3...

So even if it's old software, it's still very valuable to the Reaktor user base.
Myself included. As much as I love Blocks, the sheer number and quality
ensembles in the old - Reaktor 4 - style, is really the bulk of NI synthesis...

So I'm a bit worried of these decisions, imprinted to cloud music models...
