50 patches for Legend. No combinator patches.
Unlike with some other synths/patches the mod wheel should be left alone, as many sounds here already has a dialed in amount that suits the patches. Moving the mod wheel will in many cases ruin the patch and become something else completely.
I've used noise as a mod source quite a lot in many of these patches.
A couple of patches have notes/instructions (...) in the title to invite the user to play with them the intended way.

Feel free to check them out.

Thanks. Cool.
I had some thoughts about delving into Zero. But I don't feel brave enough just yet. Someday.

Nice I will definitely try these, thanks Tritone Addiction.

Demo sounds better than some legend patches I heard recently 😂

You mean "those" patches.
Well there is one patch in this refill that could definitely match them, most likely surpass them in terms of being the worst. The patch is called "Boiling Poop". I thought about not including it, but I just had to leave that one in there. :D If you can make a decent song with that patch, you are one skilled music creator.

I think I might have to wait a bit with my "Worst patches challenge". There's a lot at work right now. And the time I have for music I might try to come up with something for the Tonicmint FlowBrush Song Competition since that has a pretty short deadline. But I'm not sure I'll have time for that one either.

Ha ha yeah I did 😊

I am trialling flowbrush too but similar situation as not sure I will have time. Hope to find a moment to create something though.

thanks for the patches!

in case you are wondering like I was you can load these in the VST too.

When you load the patches it's a little tedious, so if you SAVE them as .fxp patch inside the synth, it makes it easier to browse the patches instead of having to load them 1 by 1, also found on mac OS - if you don't have the sub folders it makes it even faster to browse all the patches.

hello,

thanks for the legend patches

it is really great that there are people like you who donate to people like me
who can't really design patches from scratch

your work is really appreciated

These are excellent, thanks! very useable, and really show off Legend's "classic" qualities

Very interested to see what you come up with re Zero. I like Zero, but it's a bastard to program

I guess I have. But it doesn't feel like that. Making a few patches here and there consistently over a week or so. And before you know it, a small collection of patches can come together pretty quickly. I often do what I call "mini sessions" when I use Reason. 10-30 minutes whenever I feel like it. I know some people need a big chunk of time to really get into music mode. I'm not like that.

Thanks. I pretty much never use VST with the exception for some izotope stuff in the mastering chain. Other than that it's all REs for me.

Thanks for the kind words.
I still feel like I'm in my early phase of patch making. It wasn't long ago that I relied very heavily on presets myself. 9 months to be exact. So this is all still pretty new territory for me. But it's definitely made me appreciate the synths that I've explored more.
If you're like I was, feeling a little hesitant to delve into the whole patch making stuff, I'd encourage you to try it out a bit. I've learned that you really don't have to be an expert to get some decent sounds. I mean most of my patches for all the synths I've explored is just using one oscillator. It doesn't have to be too complicated.

Thanks. For me the Legend is all about its filter, drive, feedback and the noise modulation. That's where my mind goes when I think about the Legend. I think I went a slightly dirtier/grittier route compared to the included patches.

Yeah like I mentioned, still not sure I'm ready to take on Zero just yet.

Thank you. Some great patches in the refill. Legend is definitely one of the REs that I get a lot of use out of.

Thanks for sharing this! It somehow sneaked past me all this time!

You're welcome. Well I've done quite a few refills at this point so I'm not surprised if some of them passed you by. Man it's been way more patch making than I first intended to. I've gone through Europa, Grain, Parsec, Malström, Oberon, Legend, Megasaur, Ivoks and Snakebite. It's really starting to grow into big a sound library.

I've got all of those, yup.

You've definitely got a knack for it. I remember the days when you would say you don't do sound design, then I remember you saying you were going to try it out. You've been on fire since the first release.
