Before that one I aswell had an NEC and was quite satisfied with it, especially in regards to colour representation for working graphically and viewing angle, reason I went for an NEC again.
Now I´m quite interested in an at least 144Hz 27" G-sync capable monitor with fast reaction time, especially for gaming and working motionwise. Thing is I couldn´t fing an NEC Multisync above 75Hz, reason it at least looks like I would have to get one from a new company.
Overall UHD would aswell be pleasant for 3D-Animation/Video-/Image-/Photoediting, simply for having additional space for stuff like tool-windows available.
Would naturally be smooth for Reason aswell, let alone gaming.
Also mentioned adequate colour representation is quite important (not reference level though).
Especially for watching video from aswell quite non-perpendicular angles, an adequate viewing angle quality is an additional creterion. Aswell reason for a flat display shape.
I would prefer a non-glossy display surface btw.
Maximum budget is around 600+ Euros.
After having started researching for potential monitors I especially wonder how those gaming monitors meeting the requirements numberwise are doing in relation to colour representation. Saying while they sound quite good on paper I don´t know how well they are suited for working graphically and would very much welcome suggestions, especially based on experience, before diving any deeper into research.
