Hello again, another month has come and gone, and I’m back today with another livestream

Today’s topic will be ‘Loudness’. It is a broad topic, so who knows exactly where it will go!
As always, suggestions are welcome - I’m more than happy to go off on tangents as some of you already know…

Please stop by to say hi:

Might I suggest to add the topics to the YouTube titles?

Good to see, that I'm not the only one who creates a transient, then clips it. It's useful for shaping the sound with it.

The other thing I figured out, too, is flamming the transient to add a "flat" loudness (just don't let the loudness war know). After all, we know the annoying effects when cd players got stuck, or a video game or similar froze, and a tiny bit of buffered sound played like a wave cycle - which sounded super loud, compared to the volume we listened on.
