Did a techno track a while ago with a reversed recording of my coffee grinder for the riser. It was great.

What a great video! I've watched it several times and cannot stop! The idea for the future party is found :)

Looking at my standard template I tend to use stock units and REs mostly for utilities and simple effects:

Flower Audio Loudness Meter - A device that should REALLY be unnecessary but Reason doesn't have simple audio level readouts anywhere so suck it RS.
Reasonistas Sidechain ReAction Enveloper - It's like LFOTool, but no annoying popup window since it's a Rack Extension. Nice.
Uberwave D-filter - Very steep and easy to use filter unit for whenever you want to really cut something away. Which is always.
M-class Stereo Imager - Never mind the stereo. It makes your low frequencies mono bro.
The Echo - Simply a very good delay unit. Drag it into your channel, default preset, adjust dry/wet and it's good to go.

For synths and more complex effects it's mostly VSTs these days.

Edit: Also Umpf Club Drums - It has all my drumz in it (wait, not the REX loops.. oh heck that's 7 devices now including octorex)

MIDI Out Device (6x, i'm using more and more hardware synths)
Kong (Combined with 2x Drum Sequencer)
Subtractor (Still my go to synth for bass and leads)
Europe (at least two or three)
The Echo

Love that thing so much - although I don't really use the delay very often, mostly use it as a saturator/colouriser effect
