Yes it does.
If you own Balance however you won’t be able to register R12 on that despite it being also billed as an ignition key.
Again though, the red stick works fine.

I was under the impression the hardware key was no longer supported, but can’t remember for sure.

I’ve got my R12 license on my IK just in case I can’t use internet verification. I haven’t looked recently so it’s entirely possible that they have removed the option to authorize an IK as they did with Balance.

Inside of Balance is actually an ignition key if you open it. Don´t know wether it differs from the original though.

I know. I’ve had this argument with RS.

Oh, and are you sure about it not working anymore because if I click authorise it says "no Balance found" + "no Ignition Key found" (not having any connected btw), so I at least assumed it was still possible.

The ignition-key is working fine on MAC OS 10.14.6

Before some minutes I bought Reason 12 and Activate it via ignitionkey.

Only Balance will be no longer be supported. (Reason 12: You cannot write any activation anymore to it. But it will be readed)

hmmm.. even more interested if ignition key works with 12 on Mac OS 10.15.7 intel
if it works with Montery, I could use my wife's new intel laptop , and the logic 3d sound option could be fun.
Anyone using 12 and Montery with an ignition key stick... not their interface Balance, that I know does not work... My key still works on 10 even though it is now unsupported as Selig stated. ok now looking from the fence with the latest offer... I have all the racks but mimic, and combinator 2 looks awesome... what are the major bugs with apple using intel chips ( not M1)? Running 11 suite is solid ! Please sell me on the improvements before 21/06/2022 CET !
Like before, I could run two version 11 and 12 for it's befits I imagine? I use 10 and 11 suite currently.

i wish my fn ignition key still worked. it abruptly stopped working when i switched computers & props refused to repair it or troubleshoot it for me in any way whatsoever. they literally told me to just buy a new one, and at that time i didn't have much money to spare on nonsense. now i just log in 100% of the time. really left a bad taste in my mouth about props

I'm pretty sure it was just macOS support specifically that got discontinued
