Korg Minilogue XD USB Interface

Hi all,

About to get this as my first 'synth'. Just wanted to ask if the XD can be used as a controller for other VST. So when not using it as the midi-in, switching to say a Spire instrument, can the XD be the controller?
Probably a dumb question....

No, not dumb. Don't know about vst, but you definitely can use it to control synths in Reason.

Having spoken to Focusrite (I have a Solo), and the music store, the Minilogue XD has stereo outputs, so the Solo will only output to mono due to its one input, could I use something like the M-Audio M-Track Duo as the dedicated synth in\out? I can get one for £50, which seems okay just to get the Stereo from the synth leaving my Solo as the dedicated Soundcard?

Sorry to bump. Was aiming at getting everything ordered prior to this weekend. Could somebody confirm on the M-Audio option for me pretty please?
