Serves as a reminder there's a lot of gems in the FSB. Tweak ADSR and add some fx and you have a much bigger sound in many cases. Was pretty cool to see that.

Haven't finished the video yet, but damn this is exactly how I started out making music in Reason .. simple stock devices, default soundbank, and hand clicking notes on the piano roll - with little-no attention to velocity
That was so nice to see, as I regularly have those moments where I feel like the biggest amateur on the planet.

Now I have to watch. With REs, VSTs, it's overwhelming.Steedus wrote: ↑04 Apr 2022Haven't finished the video yet, but damn this is exactly how I started out making music in Reason .. simple stock devices, default soundbank, and hand clicking notes on the piano roll - with little-no attention to velocityThat was so nice to see, as I regularly have those moments where I feel like the biggest amateur on the planet.

I love Andrew! Been subbed to his channel for a few years now. He puts out great content, understands music and music production very deeply, and is an avid Reason user. Glad to see the live streams come back. Great guest to help kick them off again.

Looking forward to seeing what the new device is capable of as I'm definitely not sold on this one.
Don't take it the wrong way but R12 and the devices so far have all been a hard pass so far (BLG Mimic CMBv2 now BVx) it's been a very disappointing year.
Come on guys make me feel like I need to start buying more stuff.

Well another 2 hours of live stream and yes it's a cool device - not sure it's something for me but definitely well thought out and very functional as always

I like the sound and features.
But looks a bit crowded and i dont like the plastic look.
And its pretty cool to have so many modulation sources
, but you ran out of mod matrix slots faster than you can say "mod matrix"

Anyone pick up anything from this stream? I switched off after about an hour.

Really enjoyed this one - and good to see the ID8 piano is a choice for others as I'm always using it.

I was just wondering, did we ever get a Complex-1 live stream? I would still very much like to see someone do a deep dive into it and show applicable sound design tips and tricks.
