I'm trialing Re-Tron right now. And I find it interesting how much its sounds affect the way I write music. This song sounds nothing like my music normally does.
Would be interesting to make a couple of tracks using the GForce REs just to see where it takes me creatively.

Hmm, sorry I'm not really sure I understand how your comment relates to my track.

Ok I see. It's a mix of notes being played by hand and adjusting the notes timing manually in the sequencer. But this track isn't tied to the grid (a fixed tempo), so no quantizing. The tempo/timing is pretty loose.

Nope, haven’t changed a thing. It’s the same song.

No worries. Thanks for listening to the track.
Yep they've got a similar guitar tone.
That's very cool! I could imagine this in a Western movie! Also a bit like Yello.
Very atmospheric!

Thanks. I imagine this in a western type of scene too.

Blended the old sounds with new the tools seamlessly.
I've already started working on something based on this video. But unfortunately I'm gonna be quite busy for some time. But I'll be back when I've got something.
Instant western vibe for me, too. I don't like western movies but I do randomly like listening to western music during long drives. This also reminds me that I have GForce ChamberTron. I've never really used it because I kept experiencing an odd issue with no sound if I played notes on my midi keyboard before patches fully loaded. You have me curious enough to wipe the dust off that RE.
Relax. Listen to some music.

Finished it quicker than I thought.
Given how the song came about, I couldn't think of a more appropriate title.
Apparently genuine inspiration works quicker than Bradley’s pleading.TritoneAddiction wrote: ↑31 Mar 2022

Mysterious dark atmosphere with majestic ambience on top, to perfectly capture the feel of ….

Yes very majestic and powerful.
I think we've reached the destination for this one.
Listening/watching this I almost forget what the thread was initially about. This thread really took off in a completely new direction. And I'm not complaining one bit. I've enjoyed the ride.
At some point I gotta try out some of that resampling stuff you did with Europa too. I've never delved into that. But that's for another day.

Yes I noticed the ChamberTron bug too. Oh well, I like it enough to deal with that, even if it isn't perfect. I've decided I'm gonna buy ChamberTron and ReTron.strangers wrote: ↑30 Mar 2022Instant western vibe for me, too.
