Reason isn't checking the plugin folders on start up,any ideas?

Reason now checks sum plugins and misses a lot

Rack Extensions or VSTs?

If you mean VSTs, than ensure you have VST version 2.4 with 64bit plugins installed, the locations added in the Reason settings and check the plugins Window is they didn't crashed.

Even assigned a folder for the precise plugin I want yet reason won't find it .I've got this nightmare of deleting unwanted plugins to find reason keeps them available,yet that's the road to take I guess.

What's the folder name you're adding? That might gives us a clue what's going wrong.

E/programfiles/steinberg/vst/nectarine, the same in drive C , and allso program files vst.

And where did you installed the VST? There must be a .DLL file somewhere located, which contains your VST. Where did you installed it?

I made copies and theres won in eatch of the above locations.

Reinstalled the update ,unwarranted message about the scratch folder after reason ignored scan vsts folders no joy 50 or so usefull vsts ignored.help needed.

I still have no idea which plugins, where you installed them, VST2 or VST3, 32 or 64 bit, if the folders are added as search folders in Reason?

Well I upgraded reason to the latest release and put back 500 odd plugins of witch a few made it to the program there doesn't seem to b rhyme or reason why sum plugins crash or aren't recogmized.Im going to spend a very long time sorting this out yea the main problem is sorted I can deal with the rest .
