GIFs, very tasty, deep fried.
Not so much, giraffes
Virtual Bassist RE: In the Shop
Well I did just say that the guy who created the gif got it wrong, so you know where I stand The "g" stands for graphics and that's a hard g. So RS could say they aren't "Rees" but I would say they are wrong lol. I also say "daw" and not "d.a.w." Same with the "clap" plugin format, I guess some people here will stick to their guns and say "c.l.a.p."?challism wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022Good point about the official logo gif consisting of a big R and little e.joeyluck wrote: ↑04 Jan 2022I've always been in the "ree" camp. It's how I've always said it. We have separate threads about it.
I can't go around all this time saying ReCycle, Reason, Redrum, Record, Rewire, etc. and then have a clever plugin format name and not say, "These are my favorite Reeeees!" Even the official icon and logo is presented as "Re".
For the record, I think RS has come out saying that they refer to them as "are ee" in the office, but the guy who created the gif was wrong too, so yeah...haha
Brings me to the next question: How do you all pronounce the word "gif"? Is it a soft g like go or a hard g like gel? I say it with the soft g because I'm not a psychotic monster.
