Hi All

I have a new ReFill in the Reason Shop called "Eternal Battle". This ReFill does require Reason 12 (yes that means R+ people too) as there are Mimic and Combi II patches in the 284 sounds.

The emphasis is on sounds that are useful in a mix. Many patches are pretty raw (just an NN-XT) which makes them perfect for layering and adding your own processing/effects. Some things are in Combinators (all Combi 2) to keep the structure.

I am also giving away a FREE Combi II effect (that is not in the ReFill) so my style & attention to detail can be seen (in more than a pair of videos).

Architecture: Input is put through tape Saturation and Split. One single goes to Dry, the other through a Delay which has a Drive+Filter in the Feedback Path. The Wet & Dry signals are then combined into another Tape Saturation for more color. This is meant to be subtle but very rich but you can make it nasty if you wish.

Thanks for sharing this!
Players are to MIDI what synthesizers are to waveforms.

Had a listen to the video and many of the patches made we want to take over and start writing some melodies and progressions :)
Good stuff  And I completely support the more "raw" sounds that let you use your own preferred processing (which is the fun part for me).
Thanks for the free combi

Looks interesting. One thing I've loved with the uhe instruments (and others) is the way authors include comments and tips on usage (e.g. mod wheel=warble.
light synth effect. Good in isolation over settings).
Do many authors use the free comment REs to add these notes to combinators?

I don't add "how to" advice. I can kinda see how it may be useful, but at the same time, it adds a whole other layer of time to the build process as a) you have to write instructions b) you have to check the make sense later.

I still live by the old-skool idea that someone waggles things around until they find a thing that sparks or works. That way they find their path, not just blindly following mine.
