Can we create a fade out for a song?
All tracks?
Can we create a fade out for a song?
Ok got it!
You go to the bar you want the fade out to begin.
You then go to the mixing board.
Right click on the master fader.
Hit the record button and manually do the fade out while the song plays.
It will create a track called : " MASTER SECTION" (Reason 10 here)
Hope it helps.

yes. alternative way would be "alt+click" the master fader to create a automation lane and then add a clip and draw in your desired fade.
i would recomment to do the fadeout with "selig gain" if you own it. so you leave the master fader free for eventual master volume changes later. selig gain even has a deticated fade button but i use it with the DCA setting.
i also use selig gain on my instrument tracks for volume automations, so the main channel fader is free for mixing adjustments.

That would be VCA.
But, seeing it is a plugin DCA is more accurate. Or maybe that should be:

Otherwise agreed that it is best to think about where you want to Fade. I do it at the Master Fader but you can indeed insert something like Gain or M-Class Compressor (with no compression 1:1 ratio) to finesse overall song dynamics.

had the Behringer X32 in mind that has the "DIGITAL"-controlled-amplifier (DCA) Fader Group.
m-class would be the Stock Version of this. not thought about that. nice

Except that M-Class can only trim by -/+12 dB (or twice that if you gang Input + Output). That is plenty for trimming purposes and even many fades but Selig Gain handles full fades and more with class. Or wire in a 6:2 Line Mixer. But Selig Gain still wins.

The M-Class compressor leaks audio at minimum settings.Benedict wrote: ↑28 Oct 2021That would be VCA.

Scream with everything off, works great for just gain.
