Thanks!
Mix is already available in the TapeEcho - in Direct mode the Feedback, Chorus Intensity and Reverb Amount works like mix dry/wet controls.
Ah, that's what Direct mode does? Killer!
Yes, you flip it depending if you're using it as a send or insert fx: direct on = insert, direct off = send

Held out on this thing when it was introduced because I try to not buy REs that don't have any CV. Trialing it right now :) .

You get a smooth speed up of the echos using the slider like you hear on dub records. It’s a good one. Trial it.

Update 1.1.1 is just out: Small GUI adjustments and a new trimmer added to the back!
The new trimmer is called "Slide Time" - it controls the time it takes to adjust the echo rate when changing speed with the buttons or slider. The previous value is at 0, and you can trim it down to almost instant and up to an even slower response. This is especially good when you're using the front panel Slider and want it to respond faster or slower.

Cheers!

@Developer, is this device based on component modeling or does it achieve the vintage sound using convolution based technology?

 Just trialing it. Pretty funky device. Especially like there is a dubbie reverb included.
Also pleaing for a ducking option btw :-)
Even cooler would be a breakout section like on The Echo :-D

It’s mostly DSP based: the reverb uses a mix of DSP and convolution.

Haven't considered ducking really - it's kind of a "modern" feature that could be achieved with a sidechaining a compressor when used as a send effect. But yeah, maybe something to look into for a feature update!
Just trying TapeEcho out now.... Black Friday steal!
I would also like to see ducking added to this in a future update.
I'm curious why the "sync" switch isn't located on the front? Seems like an interesting decision. Maybe a button could be added to the front in an update, so it's automatable?

Nice device, though. I'm really liking it quite a lot! I love that the delay time can be changed while it's playing, and it doesn't do that typical chipmunk sounding effect to the audio. Very cool device... sounds great! Definitely going to buy it for $25. Thanks Erik!

Any chance it could be made available via rent-to-own?
And how about that ducking feature along break out/in jacks? ;-) :-D

Would it be possible to add a trimmer for the reverb spring size or whatsoever is causing the pitch of it?

Yes, that´s exactly the point, "when used as a send effect". I hardly ever use send effects especially in combination with complex fx routings and then it´s still at least some effort to set it up comparably. Just fishing for a reply btw :-D

Yeah, onboard ducking would be ideal, instead of having to build something. Hopefully this is coming in a future update.
