Curious what you would choose, a 34" Ultrawide 3440x1440 or a 32" 4K 3840x2160
Im still on a single 27" 2560x1440
Feel free to share screen captures.
Cheers gents/ladies.
I was thinking about getting a 32" 4K monitor to replace my 32" 2K one. But wondering if it would be worth it for the reasons you mentioned? If it just makes everything look super tiny so I have to upscale Windows how much better, if at all, would it look? Not sure it's worth the upgrade. Happy with my current monitor. So only want to upgrade if I'll get a real benefit from a new monitor. Of course the quality of the monitor is going to have a huge bearing on this. But I'm just thinking about 4K in general compared to what I have now
As I mentioned before I have a 32" 2K monitor (2560 x 1440). This is spot on for me. Loads more screen real estate than my previous monitor, which was smaller and 1920 x 1080, and everything is just about the right size. I have Reason set to just 110% zoom so things are a little larger, for the smaller more fiddly controls and I don't lose very much screen space. I just don't think a 4K monitor is going to do much for me at this size (32"). Maybe a 34", if there is such a thing. But I'd probably still have to upscale Windows. Is it worth it? Maybe if it was a really high quality monitor.SoundObjects wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021I use a 32" 1920x1080 full HD monitor and never have those scaling issues.
The quality and pixel size on a full HD (1920x1080) 32" is more than acceptable to me.
