I love both of these REs, but I've always been annoyed by how loud they are when the transport is stopped. So I built these auto-silencing Combis to solve the problem.
That's my number one grip about these two... Especially CRAPE ...
Nice! Need to do the original CRAPRE as well for those of us who managed to get it before it went bye-bye.
I don't have Crapre 1, or I would make a combi for it.
BTW, I updated the D1RT Combi to make it 1U tall.

Had to fix that!
It is not too much of an ask for people or things to be the best version of itself!
Ah yes, now I can actually put it in the rack
But big thanks to challism for adding this much needed function!
ha ha, yours looks much better than my MS Paint handiwork! nicely done.
Thanks for doing that AttenuationHz, I've updated the OP ZIP file.

Applying PNG to my hairline. Generously.

I thought I would create a Combi to offer maximum tweakability with the limited control options offered by Audiomatic.
I really wish we weren't limited to 32 controllers. I ran out of knobs. I wanted to also add a gain and volume knob. Instead, I have the Transform knob adjusting the gain knob up while adjusting the volume knob down.

Have trouble reading the title? ha ha ha These are parallel. Input signal is split into the 16 Audiomatics, then sent to a mixer. You can select which Audiomatics you want to sound. This is done much easier than before because it uses the new 12 output switch RE from pongasoft.
I've always loved this interesting filter with its internal modulation.
This one isn't very pretty (pretty ugly), but it is pretty cool, IMO.
This Combi allows you to compare/combine different saturations. The focus of this combi is mainly tape saturation.
The different saturation devices can be switched out for others, if you don't have/like them.

This is great challism, very interesting idea! As to the only 32 controllers problem I know it is not as much elegant but you could try to add a second companion combi to host the rest of the knobs and overcome the limitation, maybe?challism wrote: ↑16 Oct 2021I thought I would create a Combi to offer maximum tweakability with the limited control options offered by Audiomatic.

Yeah, good idea. Definitely a possible workaround, albeit a clunky one. Another (clunkier) way to do add more controls is to use the Combi's CV inputs and route those to instances of CV8X4 Generators (free RE). I'm still holding out hope that RS will change these restrictions of 32 controllers and 32 switches and give us the choice of 64 which we can mix/match as we want. Hopefully that is coming in a future update... I think it's possible. But, yeah, until then, we have to use multiple Combis when we run into our hard limit of 32.nemesjs wrote: ↑18 Oct 2021This is great challism, very interesting idea! I spent way more time than I wanted on this little project, but I'm rather pleased with the results.
I hope you all can enjoy it, too.
Creative effect: Malstrom modulating filter.
https://1drv.ms/u/s!AiK22FHJlxLjkC1uvzw ... P?e=4ayDY9 Updated the GUI a bit more with some minor tweaks. I've also updated the file with the three LFO waveform selection routed to CV8x4 auxiliary knobs (ran out of room and controllers to include these on the Combi face). The auxiliary extra knobs can be dragged outside of the Combi for easy access.
