A Malstrom 2 with higher quality wavetables, sample loading, and a similarly simple architecture — that’s my number one request since I started using reason. It’s only been 10+ years, so surely it’s coming any day now

Yep, Objeq is what I used with the RV7000 but still, not what I aim for. The Reasonans is a bit expensive, but is a good RE. Maybe I'll get it when I reach the 150 Reward points.huggermugger wrote: ↑21 Sep 2021I think you can do this with Resonans, and I KNOW you can do it with AAS Objeq, which is currently on sale at PiB for ten bucks. Unbelievable price.drun robots wrote: ↑21 Sep 2021I would actually like to see a Physical Modelling FX, instead of an instrument, something like a convolution module feed by a physical modelling exciter, with audio input and some essential tweaking (eq, transient, input and output filters) - I've actually tried to do it myself with the RV7000 MKII but without the physical modelling exciter does not quite get where I wished.

Hi, thanks for that. I have the Sax's, and i also play flute, so no better modeling than the instrument itself. However the clarinet, bassoon and oboé might com in handy so i'll have to check that!joeyluck wrote: ↑21 Sep 2021
Speaking of woodwinds/sax, Audio Modeling's Woodwinds v2 instruments are on sale for 35% off, with a free upgrade to v3 when they are released. https://audiomodeling.com Everything from them is insanely good. And v3 of woodwinds is in beta right now for anybody interested in joining.
Cheers,

since we somehow still don’t have markers, I could use an RE that has a hotkey that would drop a timestamp into the RE’s UI at the current playhead position. maybe something that holds up to 20 to 50 timestamps, in timeline order—and if you could assign those slots different colors to help differentiate them, that would be awesome. even better if you could add short text labels next to them.
basically a list-based marker system, I guess.

+1 for this and something I've wanted since the first day it came out, play 1 chord up / down the keyboard.

So this poll is ending today, currently a Brass Physical Modelling synth is the clear winner at 13% of the votes and a Spectrum EQ update in 2nd place.
1) Brass Physical Modelling Synth - 13%
2) Spectrum EQ Update - 11%
3) Multiband Compressor - 8%
4) Dr.Octo.Rex / ReDrum / Scales & Chords / Scream / Thor Updates - 7%
5) SubTractor Update - 6%
Those that voted for SubTractor, what would you like to see added to that? I was thinking a mono to stereo switch, aliasing on / off switch, (not that I really know what that is but heard it's a thing in Subtractor) parameters in right readings then add a section at the bottom which switches from an effects section to a mod matrix, effects:- chorus, reverb, delay, flanging, phasing, distortion, unison. It's one of the best synths for learning subtractive synthesis on, if they released an update for it and then made it as a VST, they could sell loads if they e-mailed lots of colleges / universities alerting them of there now being a VST version of Subtractor and how great it is as a teaching tool for subtractive synthesis. Oh and being able to LFO the resonance on filter one but you could probably do this if they added a mod matrix.

The only dedicated strummer RE I know about is ST100. Doesn't work very well though.integerpoet wrote: ↑21 Sep 2021"The"? Is there only one? (I haven't made an exhaustive search.) Which one are you talking about? What does it lack?

Brass cause that would just be nice
Then Scream cause I need more distortion options and more control
Thor simply cause… why not??

I voted for the Brass Physical modelling synth but would love to see RS develop a 'live' polyphonic audio (e.g guitar) to midi device with option to switch to mono audio input (e.g. voice) - Play Reason and VST synths using your guitar or voice (or any other audio source). Would be great if the device could record the audio and midi as you play/sing
I'm putting this in here because I don't know where else it should go.
I'd like a simple device container that can contain Combi's so you can save whole device chians with the combi's in em. Real simple. That's almost all I want out of a new device I think.

That's the one I knew about. What about it doesn't work very well? Are there others, possibly VST, which do better? How?huggermugger wrote: ↑28 Sep 2021The only dedicated strummer RE I know about is ST100. Doesn't work very well though.
