Kind of a late warning, sorry. :)

A note on the HD graphics: it's in progress and there are issues, some of which are beyond my control but I have reported (like there are issues with previous Reason versions) and some of which I haven't gotten around to fixing yet (like the glass is messed up in R12).

And.. I'm still seriously behind on releasing a number of things, largely b/c of this long covid BS. :) Apologies! I haven't abandoned anything. :)

Nice one. I've been back and forth on picking this up for a while... But feel like I'm now ready for this monolith in my rack :)

Kron and Combi 2 have been a modulation dream come true.
I'm working on a pretty simple combi that feeds 2 krons into the combis 8 extra cv's. I assign the kron lfo mid points to rotaries on the combi, and now have 8 extra rotaries that behave like the combinators 4 original rotaries.
I call it the kronbinator.

Sweet, glad to hear this! :)

The ARCUS IMO would be really useful with the combi, and that's kind of why I made it. Well, it's also pretty useful in a combi when you run out of CV Ins on it too. :)

Cheers!

Don't worry, there's a bunch of us pretty much still trying to sort the covid bs out, and business going belly up down like popcorns in a microwave....
I'm sure new combi plus Kron and Arcus will deliver brand new emotions as some guys will finally cut the purple wire on the thing and end this sxx.

Looks like these are on sale again for the Holiday Season.
PSDN $19 - "On sale for the holidays"
KRON $39 - "Price reduction and sale!" What was the old price, I don't recall?
Players are to MIDI what synthesizers are to waveforms.

Kron was $89 when I bought it.

By the way it's is interesting for me, will PSDN ever be finally updated? If it's not I don't see reasons to buy it now

PSDN is right there with Blamsoft Distributor for features... they both need to get translated to A Player version IMO.
As that is now the faster, most natural way of dealing with Midi in Reason.
Nor PSDN nor the Distributor were designed with Midi in mind... so it would require quite a bit of re-work...
But it would be completely worth the time investment.... :lightbulb:

I don't think so. If you need a MIDI trigger for an envelope, you just need to put it in the combinator and tick the Note in checkbox. Whereas in the player version, the instrument must always be plugged in, and it has some additional limitations

Hey!

The delay unit on the KRON is quite old. I don't know if it could be used with MIDI. In theory, I think yeah, but I haven't tried.

The PSDN... I mean I've got 2-3 devices here, the PSDN is one of them, that are mostly finished. My life just fell apart. I'm going crazy all the time. I have a hard time hearing WTF is going on in a mix, making music, etc. So things have snowballed. It gets harder and harder to get back into the coding and finish this stuff up. I haven't given up yet.

I still plan on releasing it and the HERMES. The PSDN has bugs right now that spooked me.. and I may just end up releasing it with those bugs. They're subtle. :) IDK. I appreciate the mild kick in the butt reminder via quote.

FWIW, the new version of the PSDN is an instrument so that it works well with players. I'm not sure what you mean by it not being designed for MIDI. If it has places to send the note data, it can take in a ton of MIDI notes and part them out, giving each their own envelopes.

I appreciate you going at this, Re8et!

Neural networks and agents are crazy smart today, we even have free ones like trae.ai.
Maybe you can get inspired and use them to solve problems?
