Hey it's Reason update time (ymmv). And with it comes springtime giddiness, clinical depression, or something in between! Seriously, I quietly buy every time without complaint. Upgrading Reason is a lot like "dollar-cost averaging" in the investment world – you invest over time to realize some long-term gains. And Reason has improved significantly since V2.0 when I got in. They had me with the "rack," they surprised me with audio recording, and the rest is just frosting on the cake. Yeah, maybe it doesn't have that "X" feature, or sure wish they'd fix "Y", but that story goes with every other product out there, be it music-related or not. Reason 12 works well enough for me to craft music. Just some casual Friday musings with some silly art!

We once saw Hunter speak at a college auditorium in the '80s. As was typical, he didn't show up for over 2 hours because he was getting drunk at the airport bar! I recently watched https://www.amazon.com/Gonzo-Hunter-S-T ... B001MY6CDM and was reminded that he was actually a pretty good writer for Rolling Stone, despite all the other craziness!
